What Sold This Month: Real Thrift Store Flips and Profits
I love a good sales recap. There is something so satisfying about seeing the numbers laid out. It makes all those hours of sourcing, steaming, photographing, and listing feel totally worth it.
This month was a solid one. I had some wins, a couple of surprises, and one flip that honestly made my whole week. Let me break it all down for you.
This Month's Flips
Here is everything I sold this month, what I paid, what it sold for, and where it sold. I am including the platform because where you list matters. Some items do better on certain platforms than others.

Flip #1: Patagonia Better Sweater Fleece (Men's L)
- Paid: $8.99 at Goodwill
- Sold for: $68.00
- Platform: eBay
- Profit after fees and shipping: $44.51
Patagonia fleeces are always a reliable flip. This one was in great condition with no pilling. Men's Patagonia tends to sell faster on eBay than on Poshmark in my experience. It sold within 10 days of listing.

Flip #2: Lululemon Align Leggings (Size 6)
- Paid: $6.99 at Savers
- Sold for: $52.00
- Platform: Poshmark
- Profit after fees and shipping: $34.61
I almost walked past these because they were stuffed in with a bunch of random athletic pants. Always check the tags. The Lululemon size dot was inside the waistband. These were the black Align 25-inch which is one of their most popular styles.

Flip #3: Vintage Pyrex Butterprint Casserole Dish
- Paid: $3.50 at an estate sale
- Sold for: $45.00
- Platform: eBay
- Profit after fees and shipping: $28.20
The turquoise Butterprint pattern is one of the most collectible Pyrex patterns out there. This was the 473 size with the lid, and both pieces were in excellent condition. No chips, no fading. Pyrex collectors snatch these up fast.

Flip #4: Nike Dunk Low (Men's Size 10)
- Paid: $12.99 at Goodwill
- Sold for: $75.00
- Platform: Mercari
- Profit after fees and shipping: $47.41
I could not believe these were at Goodwill. They were a clean white and grey colorway with barely any wear on the soles. Dunks have been trending for a few years now and they still sell incredibly well. This was my best flip of the month in terms of return on investment.
Flip #5: J.Crew Wool Blazer (Women's Size 8)
- Paid: $5.99 at Salvation Army
- Sold for: $38.00
- Platform: Poshmark
- Profit after fees and shipping: $24.41
Blazers are having a major moment right now. Oversized blazers especially. This was a classic navy wool blazer in perfect condition. J.Crew does well on Poshmark because shoppers there know the brand and trust the quality.

Flip #6: Coach Leather Crossbody Bag
- Paid: $7.99 at Savers
- Sold for: $42.00
- Platform: Poshmark
- Profit after fees and shipping: $26.41
This was a vintage Coach bag in the classic brown leather. The older Coach bags with the leather creed patch are really popular right now. Vintage Coach is having a full comeback. I cleaned it up with some leather conditioner and it looked amazing in the photos.
Flip #7: Carhartt Hoodie (Men's XL)
- Paid: $6.99 at Goodwill
- Sold for: $35.00
- Platform: eBay
- Profit after fees and shipping: $16.51
Carhartt is a brand I always grab. It sells consistently across all platforms. Hoodies and jackets are the best sellers. This one was the classic midweight hoodie in dark brown. Not the flashiest flip, but it sold in three days and that kind of fast turnover adds up.

Flip #8: Le Creuset Stoneware Mug Set (4 mugs)
- Paid: $6.00 total at an estate sale
- Sold for: $48.00
- Platform: eBay
- Profit after fees and shipping: $26.80
Le Creuset anything sells. I found these four matching mugs in a beautiful flame orange color. They were in perfect condition, no chips or cracks. Shipping was a little expensive because mugs are heavy, but the profit was still great. Always look for Le Creuset at estate sales.
Flip #9: Free People Embroidered Top (Size S)
- Paid: $4.99 at Plato's Closet clearance
- Sold for: $30.00
- Platform: Depop
- Profit after fees and shipping: $18.21
Free People sells so well on Depop. The buyer base there loves boho and vintage-inspired styles. This was a white embroidered peasant top and the photos came out beautiful in natural light. Depop is all about the aesthetic, so good photos really make a difference there.

Flip #10: Pendleton Wool Blanket
- Paid: $14.99 at Savers
- Sold for: $85.00
- Platform: eBay
- Profit after fees and shipping: $49.01
This was the big one. A Pendleton wool blanket in a gorgeous geometric pattern. It was in excellent condition with no moth holes or stains. Pendleton blankets are highly collectible and buyers are willing to pay for quality. I paid a bit more than I normally would for a sourced item, but I knew the return would be there. And it was.
Monthly Totals
Here is the full breakdown for the month:
- Total items sold: 10
- Total spent on inventory: $80.42
- Total revenue: $518.00
- Total profit after fees and shipping: $316.08
That is a 293% return on my sourcing investment. Not bad at all for part-time work.
The biggest takeaway? Variety pays off. This month's sales included clothing, shoes, home goods, and accessories across four different platforms. Spreading out your inventory across categories and platforms gives you more chances to make sales every single day.

A Few Things I Learned This Month
- Estate sales are underrated. Two of my best flips came from estate sales. The Pyrex dish and the Le Creuset mugs were both priced ridiculously low. If you are not hitting estate sales, start.
- Platform matters. The same item can sell for different prices on different platforms. Lululemon does better on Poshmark. Vintage home goods do better on eBay. Know where your items belong.
- Fast flips are just as valuable as big flips. That Carhartt hoodie only made $16 in profit, but it sold in three days. Fast turnover keeps cash flowing.
How I Keep Up with Listings
Selling on four platforms sounds like a lot of work. And honestly, it would be if I was creating each listing from scratch every time. But I am not.
I use List Perfectly to create one listing and post it everywhere. It handles eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and more. I just fill out the listing once, pick my platforms, and it does the rest. It is the reason I can sell on multiple platforms without losing my mind.
If you want to try it, use code THRIFT30 to save on your subscription. Being on more platforms means more eyes on your items, which means more sales. This month's numbers are proof of that.
